About the person
Dr. Dominik Helberger is the founder and CEO of AMSS AG. He previously held leadership roles at Bergos AG (2006–2024), including Head of Private Banking & Head of Private Banking International, member of the extended executive board, and Head of Strategic Clients at the Swiss location. Earlier, he led the Competence Center for Family Entrepreneurs at the Berenberg Group Zurich/Hamburg and served as Co-Head of the Geneva office. With 25 years of experience in financial markets, Dr. Helberger began his career as an Institutional Asset Manager at JP Morgan and an Equity Analyst at Dresdner Bank. While working, he earned alongside his job a doctorate degree in Behavioral Finance from the Technical University of Berlin and certifications as a CEFA and later as a CWMA charterholder. His guiding principle is: "You have to find what you love."

After completing his commercial training, Markus Angst gained his experience from 1986 until 2012, initially as Head of various back-office units within Bank Leu and from 1999 until 2012as Global Head External Asset Managers of Bank Leu, the merged Clariden Leu and most recently during the integration of Clariden Leu into Credit Suisse. Markus Angst joined Aquila in April 2013. As Head Banking, he played a key role in building up Aquila Bank and has been Head of Clients, Partners & Cooperations since 2021.
